The Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame is looking at festival performances

USA Today has the story, wherein they detail the upcoming exhibit

The exhibit, which opens April 25, will cover more than 50 years of festivals — from the 1938 From Spirituals to Swing concert at New York's Carnegie Hall, seen as the prototype of the music festival, to modern destination festivals like Bonnaroo, Coachella and Lollapalooza. But Common Ground isn't just about the music: The hall plans to embrace fans' stories.

I locked myself out of my car at the 1999 HFStival, which was bad enough, but that same night, my dad's minivan got stolen, so I had to drive him, my brother & his friend, my sister & her friend back up to Pennsylvania in my "nothingmobile" 1989 Dodge Colt hatchback. Hall of Fame, I await your embrace.

Sorry, got sidetracked. Aforementioned Hall of Fame is asking for you to vote for the most greatest festival moments in rock & roll history, and NIN's legendary Woodstock '94 performance is one of the options. Really, given that the Hall of Fame is located in Cleveland, that cesspool (I say that with love, although it was only a one night stand at the opening of the Fragility tour) from which Nine Inch Nails sprang, it's probably only a matter of time before they really start cashing in on that connection, but why not give them a little incentive to get started early. It looks like all you have to do is click a checkbox to vote for Nine Inch Nails. Or, you know, whichever moment you prefer. No pressure.

This one I got from Kyle's post on ETS. Thanks, Kyle!
