Get the music from HBO's The Franchise

Last month, HBO debuted The Franchise, a series about making a superhero film (that's probably unfairly oversimplifying) - and when the credits rolled, it was revealed that the title track, which plays throughout the first episode, was by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross.

Today, an extended eight and a half minute version has been released as part of the larger, 20-track full score, which aside from the title track, is by Jeff Cardoni. As per that last link, it's available to stream in all the usual places, and available to download from the iTunes store.

The first song from the score to Queer gets a video release

Omar Apollo, Trent Reznor, and Atticus Ross collaborate on the smooth serenade, "Te Maldigo" - which gets the music video treatment: Omar Apollo is crooning in character alongside a soft bed of acoustic guitars and bass.
There are a variety of places to check it out, and you can download the track from the iTunes store.

Luca Guadagnino's latest film, an adaptation of William S. Burroughs' Queer starring Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey, premiered in Venice to an 11-minute ovation, and will get a limited theatrical release on November 27 - visit Fandango to see if it's playing near you.

We'll probably find out about a larger soundtrack release next week - keep your fingers crossed.

The Challengers OST earns the Grammy nomination

It's ironic that I've made a pretty strong move towards the website, but much of the news that's come out has been Tweet sized. Challengers has been nominated for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media (Includes Film And Television).
