THE NIN HOTLINE

If you're plugged into any social network and have any friends who are into The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, then you may have heard that last night, a new 3:45 trailer was posted online, featuring much more from the movie, and all new music by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The music is different than what some got to hear in the 8 minute preview played before Moneyball the other week. You can (and should) watch it in 1080p on iTunes Movie Trailers, but if you don't have access to that, here's a lowly transcode on YouTube -- hope you get to watch it before the inevitable takedown:

If you haven't been keeping up - there's a great tumblr account at mouth-taped-shut.com, where behind-the-scenes photos have been popping up throughout the last month. The associated twitter account gave away free tickets to see the 8-minute teaser last week (oh, and some movie that came on after the teaser), so that's worth your attention too. You never know what else may spring forth from that source...

Some good news, Reflecting In The Chrome, The NIN Live Archive is now taking orders again for the NIN Drive! If you are not sure what it is. It's a hard drive that has just about 400 GB (over 700 audio sources) of Nine Inch Nails live recordings from the past 20 years. It costs as much as a regularly priced hard drive and it is shipped across the world! So if you live in a country with bandwidth caps, this something you would want to get your hands on. It has everything on it from every tour and including every radio and one-off event NIN and Co. have done from 1988-2009!

There are a lot of things on here that have not been heard before, and some very cool soundboards and rare recordings. The NIN Drive is also updated regularly with upgrades and new recordings that are available for download at RITC in bundles/torrents. There are only a few more weeks to order one, and if you are missing Nine Inch Nails live, this is a great way to relive some of those moments and even more! After the ordering closes, it will not open for the foreseeable future.
