Free Amanda Palmer/EvelynEvelyn tickets + swag, woo!

We're taking a quick break from our usual news to talk up one of our pals and give you the chance to win stuff, because I love it when we can set people up with contest booty.

Back when "With Teeth" came out, Trent hand-picked a little-known band by the name of The Dresden Dolls as direct support for NIN's first tour since 2002. Since then, The Dolls' drummer (Brian Viglione) has performed on the Nails album GHOSTS, and vocalist/pianist/songwriter/"punk cabaret force of nature" Amanda Palmer has been out promoting her debut solo album (Who Killed Amanda Palmer) amongst other things.

Next month, she's set to release her first label-free-album, Amanda Palmer Performs The Popular Hits Of Radiohead On Her Magical Ukulele (the first single is available now at Bandcamp), but first she has a tour to wrap up...

There are just a few more nights of the run left (with Evelyn Evelyn and special guests Jason Webley & Sxip Shirey) but if it's coming your way, you should try and hit them up...don't have tickets yet, you say? DC, Philadelphia, and Boston: WE'VE GOTCHA COVERED! (Or, well, a dozen or so of you)...

But wait, there's more: Even if you don't live near any of the shows/need tickets, Amanda will be giving one lucky person a signed/personalized copy of her Who Killed Amanda Palmer book (with original writings by Neil Gaiman) AND a signed copy of the Evelyn Evelyn 10" double-colored-vinyl (which also comes with one of those archaic CD things)...

All you have to do to enter for any of this stuff, is click on the appropriate button on the image map below and tweet the message that pops up on your Twitter account. We're giving away 2 pairs of tickets per show, as well as 2 SINGLE tickets in each city.

Please only enter for tickets if you're sure you can go to the show.
Winners will be notified day of show via the @AFPwire Twitter account, approximately 3 hours prior to doors. The book/vinyl winner will be notified Saturday evening via AFPwire (and we'll need you to respond quick so we can get your name for the personalization).

If you wish to slightly edit the tweet-text provided for you above, please make sure you keep the hash tag (#AFPninHL) and the links - that's part of how we'll be picking winners.

Thank you all, and good luck.

P.S. If you wanna go to one of those shows but aren't interested in this whole contest thing, tickets for all three nights are still currently available here.

And now, back to your regularly-scheduled Nine Inch Nails news.
