Attention Nine Inch Nails fans: Mark July 20 on your calendars. That's the day that "The Day The World Went Away," the first commercial single from the forthcoming album Fragile, will be released.

The single will include "The Day The World Went Away" as well as "Starf--kers, Inc." and "The Day The World Went Away--Quiet Version," and will be available on CD, cassette single, and 12-inch vinyl. The vinyl version will also include "The Day The World Went Away (Porter Ricks)."

In other NIN news, the band's official website, www.nin.com, is featuring sneak previews of the new release with sounds and visuals.

Fragile, which is expected to be released later this year, will be issued by NIN mastermind Trent Reznor's Nothing Records. The label, which was co-founded by Reznor's manager John A. Malm Jr., is also home to Marilyn Manson, as well as new signings The The and Einsturzende Neubauten.
