Capital G Remixes

By Some Island Records lackey for n/a on January 1, 2007

Artist: Nine Inch Nails Title: Capital G Release Date: 4.6.07 This is the second single to be taken from the bands' "Year Zero" album which features 16 tracks written by Trent Reznor around the theme of the end of the world! What you dirty dance lovers will be excited about here is the two great remixes from two producers at the top of their game - Mr Paul Epworth aka Phones and Switch. Paul Epworth has really found a sound recently with some great remixes and his releases on Kitsume. Here he delivers one of his most club friendly mixes to date with a driving 4/4 and gloriously dirty walls of bass!! As Dave Tayloer has already proven with his amazing Futureheads remix he knows how to 'switch' a rock track into a fully fledged dancefloor killer. The Switch remix does the same trick and features barnstorming wonky bass, vocal cuts and a hands-in-the-air breakdown!! An outstanding remix package for a very special band. Additionally NIN have also confirmed appearances at Reading and Leeds festival in August. They will appear on Friday 24 August at Leeds Bramham Park and Sunday 26 August at Reading. They will also play the following UK dates: 21 August EDINBURG Meadowbank (with Foo Fighters) 22 August DUBLIN Marley Park (with Foo Fighters) 28 August BIRMINGHAM Academy (re-scheduled date) 30 August WOLVERHAMPTON Civic Hall (re-scheduled date) The band have just finished a sold out European tour and the shows were described by The Times as "intelligently designed, perfectly executed, theatrical rock n' roll", so these festivals and live appearances are not to be missed. www.nin.com Reactions and charts essential people!!!
